Mohill GAA Club Development Draw The Philly McGuinness Memorial Park Fundraising Draw Mohill GAA Club have undertaken major improvements on our Club pitch. Our playing surface is complete and we are now undertaking major fundraising efforts in order to go to stage two of our plans which involves a new facility including dressing room and club room. We have decided as a fitting tribute to name the pitch after our late beloved "Philly McGuinness" R.I.P. It will be a memorial to an outstanding player who lost his life doing what he loved most. We in the club were greatly heartened by the solid support which we received from numerous clubs throughout the county, country and from abroad and we wish to thank those who supported us in every way. The Draw was a great success with the Club raising over €80,000 for the new Philly McGuinness Memorial Park There were many winners on the night, the biggest of all of them going to Tony Feely of Mohill who took the first prize of €5000. 2nd Prize: Seamus Gallagher Eslin €3000 3rd Prize: Pauric Browne Mohill €1000 4th Prize: Therese Farrell Mohill €500 5th Prize: Vince Mc Guinness: Weekend break in the Landmark hotel 6th Prize: Members of the Manorhamilton GAA club: Weekend break in Lough Rynn Castle 7th Prize: €250 8th Prize: Mohill Board €250 Bord Na Mona Vouchers
